As I type, I hear the beep of the coffee pot telling me that a new pot of coffee is ready to enjoy.  A start of a new day:).

Life around here is a juggling act once school begins.  I feel like I've got a good "balance" between school and activities, but with five little ones it is still busy.  There is just no getting around it.  I've been busy reading a book I'm writing a review on and will tell you about soon, working on my articles for Faith Deployed and I've also been working hard to stay consistent with my running.  I absolutely love running.  It is not always easy for me, but it always is such a relief.  It feels amazing to push beyond my day to day activities and work through something difficult that is not necessary.  I enjoyed some of the fruits of my labor this past weekend with a perfect 7.8 mile run.  God blessed me so much with that run.  Everything about it ... the weather, Richard there supporting me through, the two runs leading up to it, the timing ... was just perfect.

All of that is to say that I've got blog posts in my head, but not a lot of time to post them.  They are coming, though, so be patient just a little longer!

For now, here is a sweet, sweet post that I received in my inbox last night.  Enjoy!

  1. That was a great post from bluebirdbaby - geez, her pics are so sharp and colorful ... *sigh*! glad to hear at least a quick check-in post from you, I was wondering where you went?! Hope you got to read all the praise I gave you for your book post, I did a similar one last week too ...
Glad you've got such great running weather lately to keep you sane ;-)

  2. That was the nicest surprise to hear from you tonite - I feel so blessed by your kind comments, MK, your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to me - thank you!
