Last Minute Craftiness

If you've followed me for a while now, you know two things about crafting and me.
1. I'm not crafty
2. I  seem to have a lot of uses for cardboard boxes.
(note this and this)

Because of 1 and 2 above, when I received this in my inbox, I knew it would be something in which the girls at 57 would take part.  We didn't use paint, but markers and the photo doesn't really do the trees justice.  They look perfect on the mantle and sparkle so nicely at night.  I think next year we'll try making a whole village with snowmen, angels, houses and stars.  We might even try a manger scene, who knows!!

And just in case you are looking for a fun stocking stuffer this year ... you could try stuffing your loved ones stocking with a treat hidden inside a yarn ball.  The girls and I made the following to share with their cousins when they came last weekend for lunch.

They were fun to do and very well received.  I think one with a new watch would be the perfect thing for my stocking this year.  What about you?

Only three days and a wake up left!
Merry Christmas!!
